Imagine a world where we are all comfortable with our grief.
A world where those who are grieving feel supported by their community; a community that knows what to say and how to act. The pandemic has caused us all to grieve losses.
We have come face-to-face with our grief, yet most of us have never been taught what to do with grief or how to mourn our losses. As a result, those who are grieving feel shunned and isolated in a process that they don’t understand. In today’s workshop, Maria will shine a light on a topic that has remained buried for too long.
Together we will find clarity in the chaos and hope for the grief journey.
In this workshop we will shed light on:
The difference between grief and mourning;
Myths that keep us stuck in our grief;
Dangers of buried and carried grief;
Tactics to support those we love when they are grieving;
Opportunities for support when we are the one who is grieving.
