Once in a Blue Moon Event – You’re Invited!
Astrology is enjoying a resurgence, especially among Millennials and Gen Z. No matter what your level of expertise, East West has a free event that will help you sharpen your astro skills and apply them in a practical way. Based on current sky timing, it’s a Once in a Blue Moon event, as this week’s Blue Moon emphasizes writing, books, practical communication and entertainment.
Join East West and national astrologer/artist Rachel Stuart-Haas. She just released her second astrology book: Mercury in Retrograde (Simon & Schuster). It’s star wisdom to live your truth, find your power, and hear the call of the Universe.” It’s comprehensive, chatty and highly readable, covering basics (like signs and houses), plus more advanced concepts (like transits, mid-points, planetary returns, compatibility, asteroids, and moon cycles) in relevant, plain English. Its opening lines are enticing: “Want to know a dirty little secret? Astrology works. The only issue is that nobody knows how…The planets are affecting you right now. Whether you are aware of it or not.”
Rachel’s tone is upbeat, hopeful. She’ll talk about spiritual practices during the pandemic and peek into the future. Gather with your tribe, sip a morning latte and enjoy the show. EW co-hosts Joseph, Erin and I will be there too, soaking up Rachel’s astro wisdom Saturday, 10 am. To participate register here. Did I mention it’s free?
You don’t need to have your astrology chart to attend, but it’s easy to get a basic chart done free online. To get a chart with basic planets and asteroids free, try astro-seek.com. For paid software options see here.
To order Rachel’s books, go here and support a local independent, non-profit bookstore.
Rachel will read a few charts. To participate, send a question and your birth date, time and location to deni@deniluna.com. We’ll likely do 3-5 charts, depending on time. The next Blue Moon is in two years -- a friendly metaphor to seek this opportunity now. Once you register, you’ll get a Zoom link to Saturday’s live show and a recording to enjoy at your leisure.
Deni Luna, a long-time reader at East West, will be moderating this event with Rachel Stuart-Haas.
