In his new book The Adventure: A Practical Guide to Spiritual Awakening (published with an intro-duction by Eckhart Tolle), Steve Taylor presents a step-by-step guide to spiritual awakening. In this session, Steve will describe the eight defining characteristics of wakefulness and outline how we can cultivate them, demonstrating some of the book's exercises. He will show that wakefulness (or en-lightenment) is a natural state which is accessible to everyone. Steve Taylor PhD is the author of 15 books on psychology and spirituality, and is a senior lecturer in psychology at Leeds Beckett University. His books include The Adventure, Extraordinary Awak-enings, The Clear Light, and The Leap. Eckhart Tolle describes his work as "an important contribu-tion to the shift in consciousness happening on our planet at present."
