Author Bio:
Lara Sanderson writes from the threshold where inner practice meets lived experience. She spent more than fifteen years in nonprofit leadership and government relations before turning toward full‑time yogic study. Her early career was marked by a commitment to public service and recognized with the Marshall Memorial Fellowship, awarded to emerging American leaders in transatlantic relations. Lara’s spiritual path deepened when personal loss and an unmistakable inner summons drew her toward the mantra and meditation first introduced to her father decades prior. What began as a childhood seed—planted through her father’s yogic lineage—grew into a decade of rigorous sādhanā shaped by the nurturing guidance of meditation teacher Sally Kempton.
She lives in the Pacific Northwest, where she writes, gardens, cooks, collects art, and tends a life oriented toward beauty and service. A certified yoga teacher and Reiki practitioner, Lara teaches from the principle that every person carries a powerful, innate source of wisdom that devotion and disciplined inner practice can reveal. Her debut book, Mātrikā’s Muse, chronicles a journey of awakening through the senses and invites readers into
the quiet, radiant territory of inner transformation.
