Ethan offers non-psychic spiritual counseling facilitated by tarot cards.
This is not a typical tarot reading, more like a Tarot Conversation, or a 'self-reading' where Ethan will guide you to read your own cards. Ethan uses the cards and his own questions to help your heart find its voice. He will offer his own insights and tell you any patterns he is noticing, but the best insights have to come from you.
Instead of 'reading' you, Ethan helps you reveal and actualize your own heart. Previous clients have been able to:
-Say what they have desired for a long time, but never revealed out loud.
-Come to clarity on decisions that have bothered them for years.
-Unveil energetic patterns that have been governing them subconsciously.
Here's what will happen:
Ethan will ask you a few questions to get to know you, and you can tell him what your question is or what you would like to talk about. There will be a brief moment of silence, centering, and meditation. You may take this time to call upon our guides and visualize them in silence, without mentally talking to them about your inquiry. Your guides may be a deity, a religious or spiritual figure, a mentor, relative, animal, the sun, moon, anything at all. Ethan will pull some cards. He will read from the guide book while you ponder the card's relation to you. We will discuss the card and the book, and his work will be to help you give a voice to your heart, or at least help you on a path to unblocking it.
About Ethan
Ethan has been interested in cards since he was a child, but his work with tarot began in 2018 while working at East West. His interest now is much less in cards, and much more in people. He simply finds that the cards are helpful in facilitating conversation. He is less of a tarot reader and more of a witness to the unfolding of the human heart. He is not a psychic and does not identify as an “intuitive” — he doesn’t channel spirits.
Ethan has over ten years of experience meditating with a technique called Kriya Yoga (ask him about it). He currently works at the Ananda meditation temple where he teaches and leads meditations, and occasionally serves as a guest speaker for Sunday Service. Now he works at East West, too!
